I couldn’t think of a better place to take photos in Milan than in the Brera district. You just have to embrace the fact that your stiletto heels will get caught between the cobble stones at least once, and wear them anyway. Church bells ring and choral music floats by and fortune tellers at their booths in the street whisper promises of knowledge you may or may not want to know. I think it’s best to live in the present and wait for the future to surprise you.
These shots were taken in Brera during Milan fashion week, for one of my guests posts over at the Witchery ‘W’ Edit. I was wearing all new pieces from Witchery: this bright orange a-line skirt that has a leather-look finish and makes me dream of sunsets; a white sporty peplum top; black ‘Rosie’ heels; and a new accessory staple I can’t get enough of, the black ‘Willow’ watch.
