The Apocalytpic vision: Aerograd by Steve Marais

They say everything is allowed in the mesmerizing universe of fashion, as there is no right and clearly no wrong, just a deluge of creativity changing the world one step at a time. And it’s the vision that sets the stargazers apart from the creative spirits deeply anchored in a strong sense of reality. Recreating an apocalyptic sphere and letting imagination run its course, photographer Steve Marais melted fashion and art together in a futuristic editorial shot for Gaschette Magazine.

Jessica Lupton’s (www.infidels.co.za) creative styling is the kind that strikes you as odd in the beginning, only up until the unfamiliar feel dissolves into a burning curiosity. After all, nothing beats the changing of seats from time to time and looking at the world through someone else’s eyes filled with wonder.

Rain boots, safety glasses, latex accents, metallic glimmers and super high heels collide in a space where everything comes to view as extraordinary. Featuring visionary make-up and hair by Pieter Serton and starring models Geraldine, Abel and Sean, you can witness the entire editorial photographed by Steve Marais (www.stevemarais.com) by clicking the thumbnails above.

Shaped by all things beautiful and feminine, Nicoleta Parascan’s first steps towards entering the captivating world of fashion were taken somewhere around the young age of six, when she received her very own first fashion magazine. Discovering an entirely new universe, filled with pretty ladies and beautiful clothes, there was not much able to ever beat or compete with the fantasy land that was suddenly opening up. Surrounded by books, constantly thinking about the next best outfit, in search of a signature style and defined by a nostalgic calling towards the past, Nicoleta believes in taking chances, in destiny and in building her own path in life. When she’s not writing, you can easily find her playing with her cat, reading an old book, watching movies, exploring the city or blogging her own daily adventures.
