Women used to just steal clothes from men but now it seems like shoes can be stolen too, especially if you have big feet! Men’s shoes made for women were seen at Marc Jacobs fall 2012 and immediately became a huge trend. Everyone seemed to love the pilgrim shoes so it’s not surprising at all that they also translated to the street. It’s a nice change from the flats that women usually wear as this gives a masculine effect to any outfit. Check out this off-duty model look with an androgynous twist.
From the waist up, Irina Kulikova’s ensemble looks all preppy and business like. The cardigan with a button up shirt and a sweater, accessorized with a white wide headband screams ladylike. Now, if you look from the waist down, it is all about rock n roll. It’s a very comfortable and relaxed look with the leather skirt, Balenciaga bag and loafer shoes. Now, when you look at the outfit a whole, it’s a perfect combination of both worlds. And that’s just how it’s supposed to be!
