Photographer Julia Romanovskaya takes us through the familiar story of the last days of summer, and the gentle pine that we all feel for its ailing days. The photography shoot is filled with fashion and lighting that oozes the notions of summer warmth and sunny rays.

The fashion that features, styled by Anna Litkovska, moves from all the perfect symbolic items and materials of summer- wide brimmed summer hats, fluorescently bright pink bikinis, tight fitting high-waisted shorts and denim cropped tie-up shirts.

Moving into the sad but apposite time of fall, where the weather cools and the sun burns a little softer as summer comes to its close. Litkovska continues with the playfulness of fashion and introduces the interesting addition of a clear plastic raincoat; a final admission of the cooler days to come.

This shoot is a feast for the eyes- full of colour, full of life and full of the spirited notions of the season, and how fashion can change and apply accordingly.

Born into the humble town of Franschhoek, South Africa it was little wonder that Chevaun Roux would find her flavour in life through good food, good wine and stylish apparel. After completing a Bacherlors Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics the world of freelance writing became the first choice in occupation, with no regrets and having never looked back. With a zest for anything with colour, vibrance and essence she found herself diving further into the world of fashion and design; from thifting vintage wedding dresses to pouring through new and modern jewelry pieces. This self anointed bohemian indentity believes in all the partisan revolutionary ideals of love, beauty and freedom, and when she isn’t writing or editing you can find her at the kitchens helm creating her latest milkshake masterpiece.
