Unlike most collections, which saturate the media for public viewing directly after their runway shows take place, Tom Ford keeps his under wraps a little longer. For his fall 2012 collection we first got a teaser by way of a video (albeit not the most in-depth or well produced one). Now we’re privy to a look book of the collection, which is based on a full and coherent aesthetic unlike the choppy-and-changing looks that punctuated Ford’s previous women’s offerings.
The collection brings the Tom Ford opulence we can expect for winter: plush fur, reptile leather, and an industrial, androgynous edge by way of gold plating and sharp tailoring.
Watch the preview video and view the collection look book after the break.
