Toning down a bright men’s shoe

Many men are afraid of stepping close to the Dandy line for fear of tripping up and somehow crossing over into wildly flamboyant. But even a pair of bright aqua shoes can remain on the understated side if paired with the right colour palette. Outside the Paul Smith men’s show in Paris, this gent paired his with army green and olive tones, bringing casual pants and bold shoes together with a plush velvet jacket.
