Denim, leather, stripes and plaid seemingly they don’t belong in the same story, yet when aligned together you realize they are the main elements to build Junya Watanabe’s fall /winter 2013 collection at The Papilion. Styled by Dinta Jakile, the editorial photographed by Teuku Ajie for DEW Magazine is a fashion celebration and a tribute paid to the Japanese designer.

Patchwork denim interestingly adorned, crisp button downs and leather manipulated into fascinating new shapes talk about simplicity with an edge. Complemented by Tania Ledezma’s center-parts, red lips and cat-eyes, and enveloped into a festive atmosphere topped off with balloons and confetti, Junya Watanabe’s clothing appears fresh, modern and beautifully uncomplicated.
