Weekend beauty: Rhiannon Tragear-Ragg

There’s a punk attitude permeating the styling and mood of this shoot by Vlad Savin, titled Black Haze, with model Rhiannon Tragear-Ragg as the intense beauty at its center. Hair and makeup artist Annika Bowen keeps makeup simple and fresh – freckles shining through and a hint of kohl eyeliner bringing out the natural intensity of Rhiannon’s eyes – making the spotlight fall more on the hair, which changes with each and every shot. High ponytails, messy topknots and flicked-over side parts are all equally effortless yet stunning on Rhiannon’s thick locks.

Styled with touches of toughness showing through in crop tops, spiked necklaces and leather harnesses, the details all come together to present a persona that goes beyond the black and white portrait the shoot purports to be.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
