Wes Anderson’s quirk and warm-toned storytelling made a return to the Rome Film Festival, where the writer-director’s short film for Prada entitled “Castello Cavalcanti” was introduced as part of the Special Events Out of Competition section. Set in 1955 Italy, the short film stars Jason Schwartzman as racecar driver Jed Cavalcanti, who suffers a mishap during the Motle Miglia rally and finds himself in a remote Italian town.

True to Wes Anderson’s style, the vibrant colors, the sharp dialogue and the fun characters turn this film about the golden age of motoring into an absolute must-watch.
