Is not that often that you stumble upon a fashion editorial that manages to engage you in a story-line that is both meaningful and captivating. And when the clothing, the styling, the location and the narrative appear to be speaking the same language, the results transcend the illusion, morphing into manners that one can actually relate to. Much like the absorbing tale of a relationship turned sour.
Igor Oussenko‘s striking editorials never lack of essence, but sometimes his stories are gifted with heart and soul. Harmonizing the photo-narrative with its charming and arresting effect, the 1960s styling pursued by Eugene Ilina, complete with all of its candy colors, bold patterns and dainty detailing, fixes the love story in a distant decade.
From happiness and laughter, to tears shed over the lost feelings, Natalia and Anton experience an entire string of emotions, counterpart to a real affair of the heart. Kate Kudrina followed the lines of the story by creating a retro inspired make-up, while Elena Korobova complemented the looks with ultra-feminine half-up bouffants and up-dos.
