The barren and aging landscape of Route 66 forms the basis for this photo shoot by Remi Rebillard. The tone and the mood is set by this dilapidated town and its antiquated trimmings; peeling paint, tarnished buildings, vintage cars and classic signage create a scene too perfect to let pass.
Hair, make-up and styling in the shoot, done by Mark Williamson, all express the vintage style of its surroundings. Indicative of 1950s and 60’s fashion styling, Williamson makes use of headscarves, fine pearls and delicate polka dots to match in and add to the overall look of the photography shoot.
Rebillard works with colour, positioning, natural landscape and soft lighting to create a shoot filled with the feeling and emotion that he wishes to evoke.
