A skirt worn as a poncho, a tunic worn as a skirt or a coat worn back to front are not the common images you usually stumble upon in a conceptual photo shoot. The long for originality, the pursue of creativity and the desire to explore the unfamiliar might just result in highlighting the female body through a fashionable role reversal. Photographer Pierre Soubbotnik played upon the unexpected, putting clothes in perspective.
Modeled by Rhana da Rocha, the Tsumori Chisato silk crepe trousers, the Calvin Klein jacket and the Gerard Darel black leather bag appear to be gifted with new attributes, in a game of hiding and revealing, of pointing towards the unknown through many and familiar characteristics. Spiced up by the vintage nylon tulle underwear, Rhana da Rocha’s undressed portrayal is dipped in the unforeseen.
A natural, textured up-do created by Kevin Rajsavong, alongside sexy cat-eyes and pink lips envisioned by Monica Bibalou are set to complement Kevin Parienti’s unique styling approach.
