Zimmermann swim: supplies for summer

If being stuck for choice in the swimwear arena was ever an issue, you’ll likely find the opposite problem now prevails: in a time where almost anything goes and no print is out of bounds, you’ll likely find yourself spoiled for choice, not short on it.

Zimmermann’s spring collection contributes to this desirable predicament. A heavenly white bikini with ruffles that hug the chest like clam shells, or a mix ‘n’ match bikini of multicoloured, vintage-esque florals?

If there’s only need for so many bikinis in one’s summer wardrobe, the same is rarely said for pretty spring, neo-bohemian frocks and jumpsuits to put on top of them when away from the water’s edge. And Zimmermann has those in supply, too.

Shot by Derek Henderson and starring model Gabby Westbrook-Patrick, you can view the spring 2013 campaign from Zimmermann at the gallery.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
