The tribal trend is evolving; and in 2010 will be back on the radar in new forms. But more on that soon: for now, it's still being seen in editorials, this time in Vogue Paris' November 2009 issue. Featuring Isabeli Fontana and expertly styled by Carine Roitfeld, this shoot takes the tribal elements to the extreme with body painting, African-inspired jewellery, and feathered headpieces.

There's been a lot of hype over Jimmy Choo's collection for H&M and after checking out the lookbook we think it has been well deserved. The heavily trend-centric collection features many pieces that will remain popular throughout 2010. What really caught our attention were the leather thigh high boots retailing at a very reasonable £179.99. We've been saying that a pair of over the knee boots are a must have as part of our 2010 fashion trends guide, so we predict that you will have to be especially quick to snap them up.

She went from the pixie crop hair trend to an awkward layered bob, but it seems actress Katie Holmes is finally getting some length and style back to her hair.
She attended the Women in Hollywood tribute in an Azzedine Alaia dress with a trimmed skirt that has a sheer top.
The sheer trend continues to be popular, however the right amount of care and attention must be noted to pull the look off. We would recommend wearing a more flattering, structured bra underneath. Without the right support, the sheer trend just won't work as well.

In what may signal an end to the raw style of photography popularised by Terry Richardson, sensuality is gradually becoming predominant in the blurring between fashion and nudity. At least that's the impression one gets from two of the pictorials we've featured this week; there's orgasmic Anja and now soft, almost playful, Eniko Mihalik in The Room.

As we mentioned in our fashion podcast, Batman found his way into in French Revue de Modes magazines as an unlikely style icon. He's not the only thing to grab attention from the issue though; with daring nudity, thigh high boots, and mouse ears (a variation on the bunny ears trend), this editorial is likely to be more than a small blip on many a male radar.

In our latest fashion podcast we discussed Lady Gaga as fashion inspiration... for Halloween that is. She's widely known for her crazy, often over-the-top sense of style; and this shoot is no exception.
With hair reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe, this Lady-Gaga-meets-Hello-Kitty shoot is a unique take on Hollywood in the 21st century. Not only is she covered in Hello Kitty in weird and wonderful ways, the editing of this shoot seems to transform Gaga herself into a cartoon character. There is something unnerving about her blank robotic stare throughout the shoot, yet the photos are enticing and tend to draw in the observer.
