We absolutely adore Keira Knightley here at Fashionising.com, so back when we found out that she would be appearing for Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle campaign, we brought you some of the first shots. Now we're hearing that she will be reprising the role. A photo has surfaced from what we believe is the new campaign for the fragrance featuring a gorgeous Keira a sheer white blouse, Chanel pearls, and braces.

Whomever is currently styling Megan Fox on her promotional tour for Transformers II, I doff my hat to you. Thanks to you we've been impressed with two instances of the Grecian dress trend (first in Berlin then again in LA), and then there was some very tasteful sheer fashion in Korea. And it was much the same story when it came to her appearing on the Late Show With David Letterman.
Except more so.

We were among the first to bring you photos of Madonna's Spring/Summer campaign for Louis Vuitton and we had no qualms about telling you that they left us a little unimpressed. We had hoped that maybe she would not be making a return appearance for the Autumn (Fall)/Winter campaign but our hopes were dashed when we found out a few weeks ago that she would be back. And we have the picture to prove it.

When we first wrote about the double denim fashion trend we had hoped it would die a swift death, but this has unfortunately not been the case. This insidious trend seems to have filtered through to the Men's 2010 Spring/Summer collections and seems to have grabbed a particular hold over D&G Spring/Summer menswear collection.

Anyone who has ever been to Prague will know that the city is, to this day, somewhat of a shrine to Alfons Mucha - who was one of the most prominent Czech artists of the Art Nouveau movement. The July 2009 issue of Vogue Germany features a wonderful shoot titled Zauberkraft, inspired by the Jugendstil movement (the German equivalent of Art Nouveau) and Mucha in particular. Julia Stegner stars as Mucha's flowing-haired maiden in a series of nature settings.

It's an effective shoe trend for Summer and one we'd like to see more of; and Gisele Bundchen was certainly rocking lace-up shoes when she hit the runway in Sao Paulo this week. In contrast to the Winter version of the trend, Summer's tie-up shoes are open toed with criss-crossing corsetry-inspired laces, or ballerina ties.

We're all for classicism at Fashionising.com; it's an integral element of the future of fashion; even more so due to the largely to the state of the economy. Yet for all its classicism, Megan Fox's white Grecian dress doesn't quite reach the levels of perfection one might hope for.

It may not be a fashion publication - leaning more to the news and politics side of things - but Germany's Stern magazine still knows how to make an impact when it comes to fashion editorial. Here is one that leans strongly towards the fetish trend, teaming photographer Mario Testino and model Carmen Kass in one powerhouse duo.
Titled Wicked In Berlin, the shoot features some nudity and therefore is a tad NSFW; you can see all the shots after the jump.[ Click to read 'Carmen Kass fetish trend in Stern Magazine' ]
Frida Giannini has taken Gucci off of the Continent. For the most part. Yes, Gucci's men's Spring/Summer 2010 runway includes all the white tailored pieces and slip-on shoes that we've come to expect from their men's Spring/Summer season, but if previous years have been stand-out for their Euro-Bohemian motifs this coming year comes in stark contrast.

Sending women down the catwalk has almost come to typify a men's fashion week, and while some will always claim to be miffed by such a showing it has to be said that it reflects the commercial reality of the fashion industry: women's fashion will always outsell men's. Thus Giorgio Armani kicked off his men's Spring/Summer 2010 runway with couples gracing the catwalk, and presented a collection that was equally as commercial as his decision to do so.
