Aptly titled 'Bon Voyage La Grande Duchesse', the latest collection from Chitra's Closet is a nostalgic trip back to the early half of the 20th century. The collection was marked by an earthy palette of vintage-inspired colours and fabrics, demure hemlines and two-piece suits with three-quarter sleeved jackets that brought the silhouettes of the forties and fifties to the modern day.

More delightful sheers and girly frills at Rosemount Australia Fashion Week (RAFW), courtesty of SU. Cinched-in waists and demure hemlines made for a sweeter look than the sexed-up minis going on in many other collections.

I must confess that Dizingof's arty, structural pieces don't always hit the mark for me. But some of the outfits at this week's Rosemount Australia Fashion Week (RAFW) completely had me at hello. My absolute favourite: the upper-midriff baring tiny cropped jacket (below, right). Keeping to their signature style, but with an on-trend edge.

Sometimes the best and most interesting insights we get into the world of fashion come from seeing what happens off the runway. Victoria Rika-Heke went backstage for Fashionising.com this week and captured some of the beauty, the energy, and the action going on behind the scenes at Rosemount Australia Fashion Week (RAFW).

As Rosemount Australia Fashion Week (RAFW) continued, veteran designer Lisa Ho dabbled in tribal prints and light flowing fabrics, as well as transforming a few models into stunning Grecian goddesses in draping floor-length frocks.

As Rosemount Australia Fashion Week (RAFW) progresses, we continue to be impressed by the levels of detail and innovation coming from Australia's designers. Aurelio Costarella is one that rarely fails to impress. At yesterday's show, Victoria Rika-Heke went backstage for Fashionising.com and captured some details amidst the hustle and bustle.

I love pretty much everything about Dhini's Spring/Summer 2009/2010 collection, as presented at Rosemount Australia Fashion Week (RAFW). The strict, marching-band styling, the contrasting soft sheers and ruffles... definitely a must-see collection.

Seems there are more great swimwear options coming out of Rosemount Australia Fashion Week (RAFW) than I expected. As well as some amazing pieces at Zimmerman's show, we're also loving the bikinis and cut-away one-pieces at White Sands.
