You can't look past Herve Leger when it comes to the cut-away bikini trend, and Lindsay Lohan seems to know it. She wore Leger's red bandage bikini at her 23rd birthday celebration last week. But while fringing as a summer shoe trend is still going strong, Lindsay was way off with her black fringed heels - the shoes looking far too heavy for her otherwise light and beachy ensemble.

Whomever is currently styling Megan Fox on her promotional tour for Transformers II, I doff my hat to you. Thanks to you we've been impressed with two instances of the Grecian dress trend (first in Berlin then again in LA), and then there was some very tasteful sheer fashion in Korea. And it was much the same story when it came to her appearing on the Late Show With David Letterman.
Except more so.

It's an effective shoe trend for Summer and one we'd like to see more of; and Gisele Bundchen was certainly rocking lace-up shoes when she hit the runway in Sao Paulo this week. In contrast to the Winter version of the trend, Summer's tie-up shoes are open toed with criss-crossing corsetry-inspired laces, or ballerina ties.

We're all for classicism at Fashionising.com; it's an integral element of the future of fashion; even more so due to the largely to the state of the economy. Yet for all its classicism, Megan Fox's white Grecian dress doesn't quite reach the levels of perfection one might hope for.

British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been getting plenty of attention on Fashionising.com these past few days, but that's more for posing naked in the 2010 Pirelli calendar than for her sense of style. So here's one of Rosie dressed to impress at London's Graduate Fashion Week, where she donned a bold mini-dress with fringing detail.

When we first saw Kristen Stewarts new hair cut, we thought it might be a bob: that was until we found out it was actually a Joan Jett mullet. Well, Kristen may not be doing much in the fashion stakes - her latest casual outfits consisting of little more than some Denim Of Virtue jeans and uninspiring shirts - but she at least seems to be growing more comfortable with her raven black short hair style.

While on her promotional tour for Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, Megan Fox has been pulling out all the stops. The grecian goddess look she surprised us with yesterday got her plenty of attention, and rightly so. Earlier in the tour she wore a sheer black dress that wisely balanced a daring neckline with a knee-length hem.

As a Spring/Summer 2009 shoe trend, studded heels can really add an edge to any outfit. The shoes from Balmain, Spring/Summer 2009 are some of the most popular (and most copied) takes on the trend.

This is a great shot - taken in Paris by Jak & Jil - of Anna Dello Russo's primly manicured feet.

True to our word, the exposed midriff trend hasn't become a mainstream staple off the catwalk, most being too body-conscious to venture that far just yet. But as we delve deeper into 2009, the trend is starting to get more of an airing - most recently on Lindsay Lohan who was snapped out partying in this little cropped top.

I have to hand it to Megan Fox: her dress choices of late have been spot on. And I'm not talking about her sense of style, but rather the fact that she has the business acumen to drive continuous attention to herself and her new film. This daring one-shouldered red grecian dress is the hight of vampishness. Everything about it screams power - from the deep red colour to the snake detail - and while not everyone would have the confidence to wear it like a modern-day Cleopatra, Megan Fox does.
