AnnaLynne McCord doesn't always hit the mark in the fashion stakes, but her casual take on the over-the-knee boots trend is one worth a mention. While her pairing of the boots with some Frankie B jeans and a simple white tee is nothing too fashion-forwards, these are exactly the kind of versatile boots we recommend getting your hands on this season.

Victoria Beckham is never one to shy away from a fashion trend; but sometimes it's her simplest outfits that are the most sartorially successful. Here she is in a pair of Abercrombie & Fitch 'Karen' ripped denim shorts.

As far as the thigh-high boots trend goes, we're expecting Rodarte's version to get plenty of exposure in photoshoots and editorials. The wound-and-bound cyberpunk undertones of the boots are a good match for neo-grungette Kristen Stewart, who was snapped on the set of an Allure photoshoot wearing a pair.

Wearing a one-shouldered dress from Rodarte's Spring/Summer 2009 collection, Harry Potter starlet Emma Watson attended a private dinner at Harvey Nichols in London last week. Incorporating elements of the sheer trend along with its avant-garde layerings of draped and gathered fabrics, the dress was nicely contrasted by Watson's understated hair and makeup.

The ripped jeans trend is, unsurprisingly, one that's made it huge on the streets. This Denmark street style shot, photographed by Face Hunter, shows a rather DIY-looking take on slashed denim jeans.

When we wrote about over-the-knee boots as a 2010 fashion trend, we didn't list white as one of the must-have colours to buy. There are a few reasons for this; white leather often comes off as cheap (even when it's not); marks easily; and has a bit more of a super-hero quality that doesn't always translate well to the streets. Lindsay Lohan managed to carry her pair off without too much drama, though we still don't think investing in white is the best option over a more classic colour.

Supermodel Miranda Kerr wants to raise awareness about protection of Australia's natural habitat, in particular Koalas. And with a body like hers, it's no great surprise that jumping on the nudity trend bandwagon seemed like the best way to do it. We're pretty sure every Koala in the country is quite chuffed right now with the amount of publicity Miranda is getting them. Specifically, Kerr decided to strip off for her first official nude photo shoot to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine's Green Issue.

Studs are a key element of the fetish fashion trend which has taken 2009 by storm. Here's one take of the trend on the street; a jacket with studded collar and cuffs. This would be a pretty simple DIY project for those willing; just head down to your local fabric or craft store for some materials.

More fashion from the streets of Paris: a rather stylish take on the boyfriend jeans fashion trend.

Editor-in-chief of Vogue Spain, Yolanda Sacristan, teamed her mildly ripped boyfriend jeans with elegant black high-heeled sandals.

The elegance of fitted suede over-the-knee / thigh-high boots is something we pointed out recently when talking about upcoming fashion trends for 2010. Suede is a great choice for this trend, as the uber-stylish Geraldine Saglio demonstrates. She was snapped by Jak & Jil whilst striding through Paris.
