After all, both Beyonce and Katy Perry took to the stage in Berlin donning 2009's and 2010's underwear as outerwear trend. Perry even found time to don a pair of lace-up, over the knee boots. And to sing some songs, seemingly.

Street Style: suspenders & oversized blazer, Paris

We love this take on the lingerie as outerwear trend; opaque thigh-high stockings with exposed suspenders are an understated option, especially with only a few centimetres of thigh showing (take note, Taylor Momsen). Meanwhile the cool, relaxed-fit boyfriend blazer balances out perfectly with the sexy lower half of the outfit.
