Here's a shoot that - aside from some lace tights and glimpses of ripped stockings - subscribes quite fully to the nudity trend.

Malgosia Bela is becoming somewhat of a regular in our list of magazine editorials featuring nudity. Her recent shoot for Self Service Magazine is very much NSFW (full frontal nudity included) - and though it may have little in the way of fashion, it's beautifully shot by Mario Sorrenti and worth a look.

The Summer 2009 issue of Muse features a shoot with model du jour Constance Jablonski. Constance poses in some tribal-inspired prints and statement jewels, as well as some pretty, feminine sheers.

I've already mentioned my love for the Neo-Romance shoot in Vogue Italia, June 2009. Here's another great shoot from the same issue - this one is titled The Fashion and the Fantasy and stars Malgosia Bela. The grandiose settings and enchanted Royal Guard soldiers make for a striking picture.

We love this shoot because it dares to marry two completely antithetical fashion trends: the fairytale romance trend and the fetish trend. Though the delicacy of the former sets it poles apart from the hardness of the latter, Vogue Italia's 'NEO-romantic' shoot brings them together in a sort of modern harmony.

More from the ripped denim trend, with a shoot from The Telegraph featuring model Iekeliene Stange. Stange models looks from the likes of Balmain and Maison Martin Margiela.

Here is yet another shoot to feature one of the year's biggest swimwear trends; the cut-away monokini. Titled Eclissi Solare ("Solar Eclipses"), this black and white shoot evokes a feeling of ancient mysticism and Goddess-like beauty.

Megan Fox is not one to shy away from a bikini shoot or three, in fact speaking candidly about her "promiscuous image" in the accompanying interview to her bikini shoot for GQ magazine, July 2009. Sporting a trend-worthy cutaway monokini as well as some other cute swimwear pieces, Fox does what she does best: "look attractive".

It's simple; monochrome; set against a nothing more than a plain white backdrop... and yet My Cowgirl Hero - which appears in Vogue Nippon, July 2009 - is on track to be one of my favourite shoots for the year.
Why? The uber-cool Freja Beha Erichsen, and the thigh-high boots trend, rocking it together, cowboy-style.

Bold, beautiful statement jewellery remains an on-trend choice for updating any outfit, particularly in an economic climate where investment pieces are key to making a wardrobe last long term. Isabeli Fontata stars in a shoot for Vogue Paris, June/July 2009 titled Florilège. Featuring some gorgeous pieces from the likes of Christian Dior, Tiffany & Co, and Chopard, they may not be the most affordable options for investment pieces, but do offer some great inspiration.
