We've been following this trend closely, both in our fashion podcast and in our fashion blogs; and as predicted the mouse and bunny ears trend has been hugely popular in editorials.

Here model Alla Kostromicheva wears the trend for the November issue of Numero. Titled 'double face' the shoot switches between a fiery orange haired Alla in full colour, and a more tamed blonde version of the Ukranian model shot in black and white.

Cat ears & nudity in Elle Ru with Sona Matufkova

It seems that fashion editors all round the world fixated on two specific 2010 fashion trends for November 2009. It seems that nudity goes hand-in-hand with the little trend that could: bunny ears, though these are a little closer to cat ears. These were spotted in Elle Russia's November 2009 issue with the lovely Sona Matufkova.

Leighton Meester: all sexed up in lingerie

She's working hard at the moment, and all in aid of an upcoming, potentially career changing release. Looking below, however, you could be forgiven for thinking that it's her much rumoured sex tape that's coming out. Not so. Leighton Meester is launching a music career, and as a result it's out with the prim Blair Waldorf and in with a very sexed up Meester. And what better way to do it than with leather cum bondage.

Abbey Lee Kershaw: Where The Wild Things Are

Was ever there a sweeter Wild Thing? Abbey Lee Kershaw endears herself to us even more when she replaces Max in the wolf suit and becomes Queen of the Wild Things for a day.

And while we admit that Dazed & Confused let us down a little with their urban and rather mundane backdrops - particularly when Sendak's imaginative jungles could have so much scope for creative interpretation - we're still mesmerised by both Abbey and the styling. Pamela Love's collaboration with Opening Ceremony (of which this fantastic Wild Things shoot was born) yielded the horned headpieces. Both ferocious and adorable at the same time, the horns carry a fantastical charm akin to that of bunny ears; and add the crowning touch to outfits of Alexander Wang, Miu Miu, Isabel Marant and more.

Wild Things in Black Book Magazine

Let the wild rumpus start...

Looks like Opening Ceremony weren't the only ones to be inspired by the recent film adaptation of Where The Wild Things Are. 'Primal' furs and untamed hair are the main elements of this shoot from the November 2009 issue of Black Book. Titled simply 'Wild Thing', and with its forest scenery and scrawling font, we suspect Black Book was also bitten by the Maurice Sendak/Spike Jonez bug.

Abbey Lee Kershaw has fast become one of my favourite models. And while she can work the grungy, sexy, devil-may-care thing like its nobody's business, she proves that striking beauty is also her forte. Wearing feathers, wide-leg pants, and floor-length gowns - and with a dash of tasteful nudity for good measure - Abbey Lee looks the classic screen siren in a shoot for Vogue Italia.

Zippora Seven in lingerie: Memory a Swingin' Door

It's been quite some time since Kiwi model Zippora Seven caused a stir by appearing nude while underage. Bolstered rather than hindered by the publicity, she's continued to shine brightly in both editorial and on runways, though mostly close to home. This shoot, named after lyrics from David Bowie's Shining Star, is soft and feminine, featuring a selection of lingerie in a neutral colour palette.
