As we mentioned in our fashion podcast, Batman found his way into in French Revue de Modes magazines as an unlikely style icon. He's not the only thing to grab attention from the issue though; with daring nudity, thigh high boots, and mouse ears (a variation on the bunny ears trend), this editorial is likely to be more than a small blip on many a male radar.

In our latest fashion podcast we discussed Lady Gaga as fashion inspiration... for Halloween that is. She's widely known for her crazy, often over-the-top sense of style; and this shoot is no exception.
With hair reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe, this Lady-Gaga-meets-Hello-Kitty shoot is a unique take on Hollywood in the 21st century. Not only is she covered in Hello Kitty in weird and wonderful ways, the editing of this shoot seems to transform Gaga herself into a cartoon character. There is something unnerving about her blank robotic stare throughout the shoot, yet the photos are enticing and tend to draw in the observer.

As well as Magdalena Frackowiak naked, magazine Man About Town pushes the sensuality element further with a shoot of Anja Rubik and Sasha Knezevic by Camilla Akrans. Interestingly, despite being far more erotic than most - some shots bordering almost on softcore porn - the shoot features little nudity.
Even more interesting is that the two models are apparently an item, leaving us to wonder how much acting is going on. Art imitating life?

Leave it to Hedi Slimane to take it back-to-basics and create a beautiful black and white shoot that presents the ubiquitous nudity trend in a elegant yet sensual way. He shot the gorgeous Magdalena Frackowiak for Man About Town magazine.

What more practical a way to accessorise one shoulder bathers than with heels, waist belts and clutches? The Zeferino Spring/Summer Lookbook with Ana Claude Michels shows off their accessories with an equestrian themed shoot, set against a backdrop of stables and horses. The shoes are floral, feminine and summery whilst the bags are neutral tans which can match just about any outfit.

Czech model Hana Soukupova has already appeared in Italian Vogue, China Vogue, Russian Vogue and Spanish Vogue, and she can now add another feather to her cap after shooting an editorial for Latin American Vogue.
The shots are inspired by songs from rock legends including the Rolling Stones, Guns n Roses, and Queen; and include yet another example of bunny ears as a fashion trend.

L'Officiel recently photographed Dutch model Marloes Horst in their Netherlands issue. Marloes is yet another model opting to combine fashion with nudity
The background of this collection of photographs contains classic elements with a modern twist, incorporating everything from a castle to a contemporary spiralling staircase. Donning a ushanka style hat in one shot, Marloes also gets cosy with the over the knee boots trend.

Sticking to a theme of bright red and black against a stark background, this shoot marries frilly dresses and coats with the thigh high boots trend.

If you've read any Fashgasm articles this week you may have seen that amongst our most popular pictures this week were several that featured model Rianne ten Haken. Currently a face of Armani Exchange, the Dutch model is now amongst those helping blur fashion and nudity in this shoot for GQ Italy.

With her wide-set doe eyes, Italian model Mariacarla Boscono looks ever gypsy-like and enchanting. Starring in i-D Magazine's Fall 2009 issue, Mariacarla models two uber-warm and practical winter trends: chunky knits and feathers. Don't be fooled though - despite the winter theme there's still some sheer clothing and even nudity.
