If you're overcome by a wave of nostalgia when you turn the richly illustrated pages of Maurice Sendak's classic book 'Where The Wild Things Are', then this next shoot is for you.

Unconventional, imaginative, and overwhelmingly cute, this fashion shoot concept by Opening Ceremony was released in the lead-up to Spike Jonze's film adaptation of the story, which hits cinemas this month.

Kate Moss in Louboutin thigh-high boots

Kate Moss is making a few magazine appearances for October 2009; as well as popping up in Vogue UK she also has a dedicated shoot, simply titled 'Kate', in Vogue Paris. Still indulging in a bit of nudity, she's also peddling the thigh high boots trend.

If this particular pair of boots look familiar, they're the Christian Louboutin Supra Fifre 120 thigh-high boots that we saw on Linsday Lohan in Elle magazine back in August.

Lara Stone: black and white

I've remarked on Lara Stone's transformative qualities before now, and her latest editorial is no different. Shot for the October 2009 issue of Vogue Paris, one might describe it as a world tour for Stone; there's black Stone, white Stone, Arabian Stone, Far Eastern Stone, and Venetian Stone. As such, there's also a large chance of this editorial causing controversy.

Prada waders in Vogue China: Fishing Day

Every magazine right now is loving an excuse to work Prada's thigh high fishing waders into an editorial. So much was the case for Vogue China that they just decided to do an entirely fishing themed shoot for their October 2009 issue. At least it adds some cute practicality to the otherwise inefficacious style of luxury footwear.

If you're fearful of the over the knee boots / thigh high boots trend, here's a way to wear it that's city chic and night-time ready, but not too revealing. Pair them with a knee-length coat or dress that has a split, so a peep of the boots shows through with movement.
