A Total Look according to Tush Magazine - and we tend to agree - comprises not just an outfit but a fragrance to match. And what better fragrance to compliment a female dandy outfit than some classic Chanel?

Fashion shoots don't always try to push boundaries. But when they do, they tend to push them hard or risk the failure of going unnoticed. With a title like City Of God, surrealistically perverse settings, and liberal splashings of nudity, Mario Sorrenti's pictorial for V Magazine may strike you as blasphemous. I can't help but feel there's a safety net for Sorrenti and the magazine, though, in the labelling of the shoot as a tribute to The Holy Mountain, Alejandro Jodorowsky's twisted piece of 1973 celluloid art. The controversy is still Jodorowsky's; just modernised and captured in glossy print.
If you've ever watched The Holy Mountain (which I, for some odd reason, have) the pictorial, which features Natasha Poly, may make a little more sense to you. But only a little.

With gorgeous styling that draws in clashing prints of vintage florals and polka dots, and a colour palette of sherbet pinks and lemon yellows, this pictorial for Fiasco just gives you that breath of new Spring air. And nothing gives an injection of youthfulness better than some cowboys and indians dressups.
Pino Gomes photographed the shoot, while the beautiful styling was by Patrick Hausermann.

It's been a while since we've had the pleasure of featuring work by photographer Taylor James, so I was more than pleased to stumble across this gypsy-inspired shoot of his today. I'm not sure what I love more: the flowing hippy hair or the uber-cool bohemian styling by Mila Franovic. Either way, it's more than worth a click through.

young&restless is a fitting name for the collaboration between designer Ashburn Eng and Singaporean label max.tan. There's a darkness to the theming, a heaviness to the materials and colour palette that bring the 'restless' component to the otherwise youthful and figure-hugging forms. But the key word in all of this is the former: theme. Titled 'Ritual' the draping fabrics and pentagon motifs add edge to an ultimately clean and sophisticated collection.

It's a pretty big call, but Elle UK think they've managed to single out the 25 most key clothing pieces of all time and work them into one big (and admittedly stunning) shoot. So how do Elle turn key pieces into key styling ideas? Take some cropped cigarette pants and a cashmere sweater, some Breton stripes, or a shearling aviator jacket and watch the rocking '50s looks pour forth; while the sexy '60s is represented by bombshell corsetry and full skirts with cinched in waists. Whatever the look, whatever the setting, Coco Rocha shines and David Vasiljevic's photography captures every movement in theatrical style.

The dynamic pairing of photographer Camilla Akrans with model Anja Rubik can do no wrong. Add some of our favourite Fall 2010 fashion trends - including the must have aviator jacket - along with some prancing horses, and I'm one happy viewer.

Awash with that '60s Mad Men aesthetic that's sweeping the fashion world, Jacquelyn Jablonski's pictorial for the Telegraph Magazine keeps Fall 2010's fashion trends - in particular the camel coat - at the fore.

I'm not sure whether it's the shoot's title (Smoke gets in your eyes), the dark curtained backdrop, or the short black bob; but viewing this shoot from Numero starts sultry showtunes playing at the back of your mind. Iris Strubegger is the pictorial's smouldering, smoking, sometimes topless femme fatale.

For a magazine covered by fallen popstar Britney Spears, the topic of blonde hair seems fitting. The said magazine is POP's Fall/Winter 2010 issue, and the hair colour discussion comes by way of an essay written by Dr Sarah Churchwell. Churchwell's article looks at blondness as a phenomenon, and the stereotypes (gender based, she reasons) that go with it. Hold up, I hear you say - it takes a doctorate to conclude that blondes are stereotyped?! We highly doubt that - but the hair colour stereotype is well worth exploring in a world where the way we look and dress can not only shape but define us.
So all that said we'll get to the pictures. Accompanying the essay is an epic pictorial of pretty much every blonde model you can think of, and a few non-blondes too. There are some obvious ones missing - Lara Stone for example - and some shots are better than others. But all in all, it's well worth a flick through.
