The calendar may tell you it’s Spring 2010 already, but the weather begs to differ. So the transseasonal pieces, including the camel coat, remain popular – wear them (or invest in them) now, and you’ll still have use for them come Fall 2010. Stylist Ludivine Poiblanc gives her minimalist Celine camel coat an outing in Paris.

Snapped during Paris Fashion Week by All The Pretty Birds, we’re told there’s also a fair bit of layering going on here (alas the picture doesn’t reveal much of it in detail):

Ludivine Poiblanc’s subtle mix of texture and combination of color is so refined. She’s got herringbone, cashmere, leather, wool and suede in her infusion of style. And the flavor is concentrated in her amazing Celine camel coat!

Late one Oxford night Daniel P Dykes set about creating a fashion publication that would go someway to being an arbiter on fashion as it appeals to the emerging power generations: those who don't remember a world without the Internet and for whom work plays second fiddle to pleasure. And so Fashionising.com was born as a publication for those who were focussed not just on fashion's trends, but on society's too, and how those trends could all go to heighten the art of living. Hence, Daniel sees a future where, for those young at heart, both fashion and style are grounded in traditional quality, but with a youthful, sensualised edge. Daniel is Fashionising.com's Editor in Chief and Chairman.
