In the UK’s Harper’s Bazaar February 2009 edition they put the appeal of this jacket from Balmain down to the sensuality of shoulders. It’s not. It’s not even the appeal of it being jewel encrusted. Rather it’s a combination of the jewels and the military trend that gives this jacket an utter sexuality.
And of course, the utter obvious quality of any piece from Balmain doesn’t hurt at all.
