I hate 'About Me' sections. Terribly sorry but I can never seem to muster up the narcissism to post anything that isn't self-deprecating, which would sort of defeat the point.

My Style

Feminine, edgy, slouchy... I like a little touch of masculine. I rarely wear anything that isn't black, white, grey, or brown. And the brown is really only for accessories. I'm not sure why, but that's what happens. And I love big girly Brigitte Bardot hair. I do that a lot.

This list could be ten miles long but I'd do just about anything for Balenciaga, Proenza Schouler, Elie Tahari, Stella McCartney, Philip Lim, Givenchy...

Eyes. And legs 3 miles long.

I don't bullshit and I am not impressed in the least by(nor interested in) celebrities.

Interests

Fashion, obviously. Dance. Politics (I've got a degree, wouldn't you know). Reading... and not just magazines. But I love those too. Blogging, because it's fun to watch your thoughts visually materialise in front of you.

Hates

Slow walkers during rush hour. Poor grammar. The word 'hubby.' Skanky clothes on girls who can't pull them off. Laziness.

Music

Where to start? Bob Dylan, Rufus Wainwright, the Beatles, Portishead. Any time of day, any week of the year. Goldfrapp when I'm feeling really girly. Obsesssions of the day? The Teenagers, Late of the Pier, Kate Nash. CSS when I'm getting hammered.

Movies

The Matrix. Umbrellas of Cherbourg. Life is Beautiful. The Motorcycle Diaries. Amelie. Paris When it Sizzles. La Dolce Vita. And of course Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Television

Stewart and Colbert and that's all I can be bothered with.

Loads of wine beforehand while we get ready, with music chosen by me in the background... Some off-beat lounge-y place with a phenomenal DJ, a teeny dance floor, big fat velvety booths, and weird coloured lighting... Followed by hours of continued drunken card games and silliness afterward.
