I'm Dan! I'm 21 years old, have lived in Melbourne for 2 years; moved here for University. I am almost finished my banking & finance degree at Monash Caulfield but am taking a year off to work as a financial analyst for GM Holden. I am originally from Albury in NSW and have been heavily involved in sport since i was little, swimming and waterpolo are my most serious persuits. I love long cafe afternoons and restaurant evenings; great friends, great conversation. Nothing beats it. I love shopping, unfortunately on a students budget things are tight, but as soon as i get a real job, shopping will be a big pasttime!

Ideal Night Out

Ideal night out used to be a massive club night, but i've cut back on that a fair bit.
Currently the ideal night consists of dinner and drinks with friends at a top restaurant (Melbourne examples: Pearl, Botanical, Tribeca) then off to a groovy bar for some fun times (Cushion Lounge is the current regular) before retiring to bed not too late!

Partied with Heather Marks when she popped into Melbourne for the Australian Open tennis... Other than that no one hugely famous.

How are the exams going, almost finished?
Allan wrote (31.12):
Yeah, you have the option of letting your computer remember your password so you only have to type the first letter of your login name.

We're looking at an auto-login feature, but haven't fully worked out the security behind it to a degree that we're happy with :)

Ok, so we're thinking of having some kind of awesome celebration for Allan's birthday... What would you suggest for a cool bar / lounge with great drinks, possibly close to clubs if people want to go clubbing post-birthday drinks? :)
