Officially established in December of 2006.. Utopia Couture Represents "Uniqueness" against todays ever growing cloning of fashion.. Feminine yet bold, my designs are here to emphesis all the right places with elegance yet enough edge to suit todays urban trend of style.. I have never been to design/fashion school or anything of the sort and have never taken a single sewing class in my ife, nor am i dressmaker or tailor by trade... I left school with business & ecconomics under my belt and endeavour to keep pursuing property development & share trading as my career path, yet regardless of my career choice, I have a love for fashion which i cant ignore... All my creations are designed and handmade by me personally in my free time (the rare moments i tend to have any)... Incorporating this fact into my creations, it actually benifits my 'pieces' by makin the collection so much more limited & exclusive in make & design... My label is purely a hobby, i work as i go and as i feel, Executing pieces which are one-offs & so much more rare to find... My Fabrics are sourced both locally & Internationaly, and are carefully selected to achieve beautiful, unique combinations of textures, colours & prints... Everything i master in my creations is self taught over the last couple years.. and every day i learn a new little trick or trade.. as the saying goes "if theres a will, there's a way". no matter what it comes too. Aslong as u got will power u dont need a degree.. i'm simply a girl with a love for fashion and a desire for being unique, That is my inspiration... My creation being worn out in public and bringing a smile to someones face???.. That is my mark on the world =) Enjoy!! =)
