Fantastic job on the makeup at the show on Wednesday Di! :D I was talking to one of the girls backstage who had red lips and gorgous bright blue eye-shadow and I was saying how great the makeup looked - she said she was very last and it was applied in about 30 seconds flat! Wish I could do make up that good in a hurry... :) We've put up a short review of the show here too.

thanks for that, it's very sweet of you to say so. It's been pretty hard work, and many saccrifices to get googled like that. It's be nice if it was reflected in my bank account! LOL, it means a lot that people like the stuff, since I make the stuff for girlie girls who want something a bit different. xx

Thats a great press photo, really nicely done! So I have to get myself a copy of "A celebration of the world's favourite cosmetic... Lipstick". Random fact I learnt about salt from that book, Roman Legionaires were at one point paid in salt! |

It's called "A celebration of the world's favourite cosmetic... Lipstick" by Jessica Pallingston. My step mom (she's texan) bought it for me. I have read a little on the history of salt, it's pretty amazing what salt represents in our society. Some would say I'm a nerd, but I too, adore obscure little tidbits like this that tell us a little about our world. |

The history of salt Allan? Did it involve the whole Ghandi thing? You know what, it actually sounds kind of interesting. And the history of lipstick too - I have to start reading these books! |
