I am studying to become a fashion designer, at a top design school in Canada. I have been studying the fashion industry since I was a little girl, and I have always wanted to be a designer. I hope to one day have a successful line, and help others in need with my income and my fashion abilities.

My Style

I like to think of myself as ladylike and sophisticated. I love all kinds of clothes since I adore fashion. I love vintage clothing and shopping for second-hand clothing, and I also am a fan of most trends. I believe in the importance of classics, since they are the building blocks of a versatile wardrobe. My favourite colours are purple, red and green. I would live in skirts and dresses if it weren't for Canadian winters. I am a huge fan of the high waistlines and shift dresses of the season. I prefer long skirts such as pencil and full skirts as opposed to mini's.

Favourite Labels

Elie Saab is by far my favourite designer, and I would love to design beautiful dresses like his when I start my career. Now that Valentino has retired, I consider Elie Saab to be the new King of Couture, as I do not think there are many couture designers as great as those two. I also love Balenciaga, but preferred the original designer to Mr. Ghesquire. Other favourites: Dior, Hermes, Burberry, Tara Jarmon, Badgley Mischka, Nina Ricci .. so many good designers to choose from.

My eyes by far, but I also like my figure - I'm thin but curvy.

Fashion, Music, Religion

Hates

When people make the fashion world out to be ridiculous. Too many people believe that they don't need to follow fashion to have proper style, and a lot of people think there's no need to worry about what you wear. I believe it's very important that people dress their absolute best at all times, since fisrt impressions are everything. Looking nice is very important, and not enough people think so.

Movies

I'm not a big fan of movies, I prefer to watch television. I just don't enjoy sitting for 2 hours watching the same thing.

Television

I mostly just watch the Fashion Channel, fashion all day long, but I also enjoy a couple of shows.

Reading

I love to read, and I prefer to read really good books. I enjoy classics such as Jane Eyre and The Princess Bride, and I can't stand reading books that have a bad writing style, for me literary competence is important in a novel. I also love to read fashion magazines and books, but that is just as much for research as it is for enjoyment.
