A flamboyant, 'artistic' creature of darkness who relishes in beauty and intellect. Cares enough about other people's opinions not to monopolise conversation and can still act like her usual 'normal' after drinking half a bottle of malibu and a few shots of vodka. Enjoys educated debates and doesn't believe spelling a word incorrectly when typing fast has any bearing on a persons intelligence. Incomparable.

My Style

In short:

An eclectic, fashionable mix of clothes and hair-styles that reflect both my mood and my passions- music, art and culture.

Further In depth:
My style alters over time, last year I had long, layered reddish hair and at the beginning of this year I got a concave darker bob to signify a change into a new era of my life, which then changed into a layered, slightly-above- shoulder- length. I have to get a new hairstyle for each new phase of my life that I enter-and Im always changing my hair at the moment. A few weeks ago I got a shorter hairstyle not pixie cut- like what is in fashion now, but still quite short. Over the last year I have also fluctuated in fringe types- between long choppy layers fringes ala. Kate Moss, side fringes and blunt-cut fringes.

My fashion taste changes less regularly. I often try to opt for a feminine look with a hard, rock-style edge. Yet, in the past Ive worn clothes that have exhibited roots in hippie or other fashions- that have, inevitably been altered and re-cycled over time. I currently like monochromatic colour schemes and this year I have been obsessed with Christian laboutin studded leather boots in the ariella style (which I never acquired, but Im sure that I would have gotten over my obsession almost immediately after buying them- I just liked the feminine rock edge that they seemed to lend any outfit). Despite this, I did get a lovely pair of patent leather booties at the beginning of the year which my orthodontists assistant salivated over and which all my friends [I] insisted [/] on trying on. I also wanted to get a cropped black leather jacket with a french style colour or one similar to the one worn by William Beckett and I obtained the later- in a more feminine style. In the winter months, I desperately wanted a nice floaty, floral summer dress that would reveal just enough cleavage, tightly hug my thin waist and flow over my legs- without appearing too old or long and (being six month ahead of fashion) Im now seeing exactly the type of dress I wanted in many of the shops in Sydney. Yay!

I wanted leather leggings but Ive settled on wet-look leggings... and Ive been looking at the fringe- trend recently, I looked at buying fringed shoes but they didnt suit and today I fell in love (and bought) a lovely fringe shirt. Tomorrow I plan to buy shoes with thick, high heels suitable for walking inside and out- preferably in black to go with two black satin skirts I own. I want it to be influenced by the gladiator-sandal trend and hopefully Ill succeed. I love vintage shopping (hehe) and hopefully Ill get to do more of it soon. I love to mix on trend items and things Ive made with classic items that have history and we shall see how my style changes in the coming years ;)

.... Next I want a designer suit and a pair of nice cufflinks to go with my androgynous haircut. Androgyny should have been in six month ago

Favourite Labels

Anything i 're-invent' myself. Vivienne Westwood and all the other 'greats', many of the high-fashion designers working in the industry at the moment and many beautiful, quirky little up-and-coming designers who lend a quirky, innovative edge to the fashion scene.

Best Feature

Im not a great believer in best features whether they be beauty traits or personality attributes. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and many personality traits can be viewed in either a positive or negative light, it is all about the quantity of each trait a person has and how they balance and utilise their good and bad features. Passion is accepted socially but obsession isnt. Its all about the amount you possess. Its good to be talkative and creative, but not at the expense of quenching other, less dramatic, peoples conversation. Ive been called artistic and empathetic, so I guess these would be what I consider my best features - I cant really understand myself from other peoples perspectives so Im pretty sure it would be presumptuous of me to say what my best feature is ;), you can chose to decide that.

Hates

I don't really have anything apart from stupidity and ignorance- when people believe they are so right that they stop respecting other's opinions. I also hate seeing people with potential walking down the street with a bad hair-cut/ colour for their face, or a style that shows that they are trying but missing- I want to go up and give them advice and show them their potential but I'm sure it would be un-welcomed.
