I'm a 24 year old Make Up Artist from Montreal. It all started when I was 2 and ate my mom's lipstick. Since my childhood I have been obsessed with color, and shape and vibrancy...I owe much of my obsession to watching the women of my family apply makeup. The transferring of color from a tube of lipstick to the lip would mesmerize me and could keep me entertained for hours. I would watch the process of make up application in complete awe, anticipating what the face would like in the end?, what would stand out?, how would the colors look? I would long for the day when I would be allowed to apply it on myself as well. That day finally came in my teen years and it was disastrous. My first time wearing make up, I looked like a clown. But with enough enouh practice, I mastered the art. Since the age of 14 I have been doing make up on all of my friends for every occasion imaginable, high school dances, graduations, proms, weddings... I have also had an obsession with everything related to the fashion world in general. I love designers, I love the catwalk, I love the high paced chaotic backstage atmosphere. In terms of make up, I was never certified or professionally trained. I am now taking a certification course so that I can have it on paper, everything I know has been self taught thus far. No wait...I lie...Kevyn Aucoin has been a huge influence in my work. I own a copy of Making Faces and have tried every single look in that book, so from him, I have learned much. Apart from that, I have another life, it is that of a Political Science Major, University student. I figure, you can never know too much.

Thank you. I have heard that Montreal Architecture is very deeply placed and that there is likewise a great portion of the city which is several levels underground at the city's hub and commerical core.

Yours,

RMC

Whats Montreal like during the night, and what are the best places and have fun, your style, to go in your point of view?
