Ideal Night Out

This depends soley on the company i have with me at the time:
If i am with my mates that like night clubs, ill go to a night club..But, sometimes, I'll be very unhappy that I am going to a club. Something about the 'vibe' there......
if im with my mates that like bars with live music, ill head to a gig or to the area around brunswick-jonston street intersection.
If I am at the beach, Ill be sinking a few coldies with my beach mates either at the pub or at the on the beach with a bonfire burning through the night.
If i am with a lady friend, it would probably involve a bit of aclohol at a nice bar or bars, chatting the night away. Seeing that I get 2 free ballet tickets at any Australian Ballet performance (whos got the connections??!! ;) ), id probably take her to the ballet.. ;) then hit the bars.
Thats me, I am a diverse character. Its a wide idea of an "ideal night out" but it always depends on how I feel at the time. :p

Partied & Dined With

I have had a few beers with Big Kev after the 2001 Grand Final. Essendon lost, Brisbane won. At the time, he was Brisbane's number one ticket holder. The big fella was smashed LOL!
I have had drinks with one of my all time favourite bands "Unwritten Law" in 2005 at a gig at the Palace. My cousin somehow knew them... I think she (and her sister) are probably groupies....... Not a good thing to think about your cousins...LOL
They are mates with the guys from Grinspoon, so it just so happened that it was Phil Jameson's (Grinspoon lead singer) bucks night on the night of the gig!
Anyways, they are a californian punk/ rock band.... They tottally rock.
Was an awesome night. Had beers with the drummer and the guittarist. Got smashed as. Was absolutley star struck!

kelly slater: even at the age of 33 when most surfers would retire, this guy goes up a notch and takes his SEVENTH WORLD TITLE!!! He is currently on top of the ASP World Tour leader board and is definitely in a good place to make it 8 world titles!!!!!!!!
