Colour blocking in bold hues is not the easiest thing to pull off, particularly if you're not accustomed to donning lots of colour. If that's the case you may wish to check out Elle Ukrain's March 2011 issue; with Olga Serova's shoot full of inspiration for ways to work in the season's bold hues (all topped off by Prada's boldly-soled wedges, of course).

Ren wrote Socks and spectators
Geek chic-meets-Rupunzel. That's what springs to mind when we see the styling of this shoot, featuring Rosanne Doosje, for Marie Claire Czech's March 2011 issue. And while sock garters for women are a long way off being a mainstream trend, working them in subtly with a pair of masculine spectator shoes is one interpretation that works. A note to keeping a hint of femininity in such masculine-filled outfits: if it all gets too heavy be sure to roll up your sleeves or shorten a trouser cuff to expose an ankle or wrist.

Basking in the sunlight with a manor in the background and its lush gardens framing the photos, Ilvie Wittek is lady_like and dainty for D la Repubblica's latest spring 2011 issue. The season's lace trend is the centrepiece of these stunning photos, and it's featured against other spring time whites, sheers and... plastic, which refuses to go away.

With partially slicked hair and a mix of sporty and sleek clothing, Alana Zimmer glows for Australia's March issue of Harper's Bazaar. Worth checking out the Marni jacket with cut out ovals after the jump, wearing different elements under this piece will change the formation every time.

The latest issue of Vogue Paris features a stand out editorial with Victoria's Secret models Kaorlina Kurkova, Adriana Lima, Izabel Goulart and Lily Donaldson. The shoot by Inez and Vinoodh purposely contrasts between the models in toned down black and white photos, and bright sexy contrasting outfits.
