Details such as American venting and single-button cuffs; a neo-double breasted smoking jacket with shining peaked lapels (something of a poor man’s Tom Ford); skinny suits with skinny ties; and a degree of forced attitude. That was what went down the runway when Jack London showed their latest wares at Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF). Casual pieces included a plaid poncho, army jackets, and skinny scarves; the brit-rock style once so prominent in the brand seems to have died away in favour of more modern styles.
