From glam-grunge to hippie chic

Parts of Goldie’s autumn /winter 2011 collection lean to the glam-grunge side of things; like crushed velvet in deep burgundy paired with crucifix necklaces, or sheer lace flares. But while we’re happy to leave the grunge of the ’90s behind for a while, these are pieces that can also be styled for other eras. As in other parts of the look book, some pieces lend themselves heavily to a 70s hippie influence, while the mini dresses, peter pan collared tops, and a cute swing coat in camel are all the kinds of looks that start feeding into a forthcoming ’60s revival.
