The decolletage, the small of the back, the upper thigh… While it’s doubtful that Versace would ever be accused of being too subtle, it’s these parts of the body that are often revealed with particular deliberation.
For fall 2011 the Atelier Versace Couture collection has plenty of those little revealing moments and we’re reminded that it would hardly be a Versace collection without them. Going back to the archives, the collection draws in influences from the oriental to the classic, to the bold prints we commonly associate with the 1990s.
If a complex dress with a high slit isn’t your thing, you’re probably not a Versace girl – but perhaps one of the bold mini dresses, the jewel-toned maxi, or bright fur will take your fancy.
