Romanian designer Andreea Tincu presented a collection at Athens fashion week (AXDW) that took us back to our childhood years. The styling was playful while the music was composed entirely with girlish pieces. The lines of clothing were full of chromatic combinations, geometry, minimalism and pure lines. The dominant colors were black, electric blue, mustard, white, green and red. Some dresses reminded us of color puzzles and we generally saw oversized pieces. In terms of fun factor, you couldn’t go past the dress and the shirt that had on them tic tac toe games like those we used to play as kids.
Pants started out wide and narrowed slightly to finish just above the ankle. There were dresses that were more floaty and others in more stringent lines. The wide pockets on dresses were a key point in the collection. The heads of the models had quirky accessories consisting of multicolored balls and other projects.
