If there was one element of Bec & Bridge’s Australian fashion week (MBFWA) show that really pulled it over the line into being stand-out, it was the wet look chignons and oiled skin. With those, girls were given a look that emulated a post-workout glow (only sexy), raising up even the simplest of outfits to a height of effortless sporty chicness.
Opening with a selection of all-white outfits in lace, broderie and mesh (including some very wearable takes on sheer skinny pants), Bec & Bridge’s collection soon swirled floral prints into the otherwise monotone mix. Fields of blue florals worked their way up skirts, tailored shorts, and billowy silk dresses alike – the double slit leg-baring dresses sure to be a favourite.
