Tough, independent, yet somehow preserving her undeniable sense of femininity, this is how Clare Waight Keller envisioned the Chloe woman for the fall / winter 2013. With countless ideas worth exploring and inspiration striking from everything in between the image of a girl taking the night bus, bare legs, bike sheds and the art of flirting, the collection seemed fitted for a romantic spirit, carrying a predilection for the urban edge.
The sharp tailoring and the flawless guidance of fabrics lead to a myriad of classic coats, capes and jackets, veiled in the newly evoked Chloe attitude and paired to A-line silhouettes, pinafore dresses and white button-downs. Chloe’s signature minimalism reached new heights as it helped develop a utilitarian inspired jumpsuit, sheer polka dot shirts and a great selection of long-sleeved straight-cut dresses that gave new meaning to a woman’s wardrobe essentials. Flattering, wearable, strong but utterly feminine in essence, Chloe’s collection left the stylish audience dreaming about the upcoming fall.
