The concept was cleanness versus decoration. How do you create a collection that embraces both? For spring / summer 2014, Cividini took the two irreconcilable opposites and worked to find a balance in between them.
The Milan fashion week (MFW) show stuck to the brand’s known wearability. Fabrics like stretch cotton poplin and double jersey make for every day luxury basics, only each one with a small twist to subvert its purity of cleanness. Houndstooth, check, and semi-sheer finishes kept things classic yet none too plain; a rustic colour palette of black, sand, bottle green and red permeated all.
