Custo Barcelona’s New York fashion week (NYFW) show made us feel like we were walking into an old village in Spain. Imagine cobblestones, ancient buildings, vegetable stands and Spanish speakers. Combining many of todays popular trends like tribal prints, brocade, fur, plaid and embroidery to create a great mash up or design elements, everything in this fall / winter 2013 collection was wearable and chic.
The standout pieces were the fur coats and shawls that really contrasted well with all the decorative elements of the dresses, pant suits and color palette. There was one fur jacket that was blue, white and black that was devine. The girls’ hair was parted down the center and long, giving off a modern boho vibe; the men’s was styled with some gel and groomed.
