The mood: rustic peasant for the modern boheme.
The venue: Daniela Gregis’ fall / winter 2013 show was a meandering procession under the frescoed ceilings of the small and unassuming and yet breathtakingly historical Oratorio at the Basilica di Sant’Ambrogio.
The highlight: alongside the warmly lit-up Basilica on a snowy evening, Gregis’ brightly hues closing pieces of fuschia and midnight blue silk were the key eye-catchers.
Daniela Gregis’s runway show was unveiled on one of the many catwalks of Milan fashion week (MFW) and Fashionising.com was there to capture each look.
The details: lots of raw edges and organic fabrics; modest cuts; rustic elements like felt hats and oversized skirt pockets.
