While last night’s MSFW (Melbourne fashion week) runway would easily give you your pick of ultra-wearable fun summer dresses, it was Dhini that brought the detail. Detail that stood out.
Draping, sheer panels, backs that were cut with rounded flaps giving them the impression of little bumblebee wings; yet even with all that, Dhini’s pieces know how to be feminine without crossing the border into cute. Gauzy lightweight pieces could easily earn the label sleepwear-as-daywear, especially where breezy tap pants were concerned. Dhini’s much loved trench-dress made a welcome appearance while, colour wise, the pieces to look out for are definitely the pure white and bright coral offerings.
While the two toned lips that accompanied the collection at Australia fashion week did make it pop even more, these are pieces with such detailing they need little else to make them stand out.
