Ermanno Scervino got sexy for spring / summer 2013 – with wow factor from the get-go courtesy of the unmistakable swagger of Cara Delevingne and a vibrant orange dress. The first half of the a href=”http://www.fashionising.com/fashionweek/milan-fashion-week”>Milan fashion week (MFW) show was dominated by bold summer hues inspired by the Mediterranean. The second half – perhaps the Mediterranean woman after hours – was dedicated solely to black and white.
On Scervino’s runway, ’60s ponytails were a-swinging, giving the whole thing a sunny yet sexy retro holiday vibe. Fringing and crochet lace mixed with tailoring were a refined take on 60s and 70s boho chic, matched by Tame Impala’s neo-psychedelic Elephant.
From the brightly coloured and boho to the polished monochromatic, this was the woman who knows how to make an entrance – and to hold the crowd’s attention thereafter.
