Matching the pre-spring spirit in the most delicate shades of pastel inspired by the coastal colors of Portofino and Monte Carlo, Escada’s resort 2014 collection comes to view elegant, effortless and above all relevant. Seeing how the relaxed feel is the core of a significant cruise-wear line-up, Daniel Wigante chose to pursue it in delicate silhouettes, soft silks and clean lines. The translation still gained a sleek, modern edge.
Towards the middle of the presentation, the beautiful range of dusted pink, canary yellow and powder blue, met an equally strong selection of nautical inspired hues of navy and white further accenting the powerful Mediterranean influence. Contrasting with the softness of the feminine ruffles, the basic knitwear and the melange of classic cut day-dresses served as reminder of the carefree, easygoing resort attitude.
For night, the pretty blouses and skirts revealed in color-block combinations, gave place to opulent evening separates, slim tuxedos and luxurious gowns brimming with exquisite detailing.
