With a world-wide audience eagerly anticipating the debut of their autumn 2013 collection, broadcasted live on hm.com and with a front row made of star guests like Ashley Olsen, Chloe Moretz and Emma Roberts, H&M marked their first catwalk presentation during Paris fashion week, sparing no details and releasing all drama. Designed within the grounds of the Musée Rodin, the venue constructed to resemble an apartment exuding the elegant atmosphere of the ’70s Paris, captured the mood of the collection presented among others by models of the moment Cara Delevingne and Arizona Muse.
H&M’s autumn collection is ready to gift some attitude along the lines of the upcoming season, envisioning the perfect off-duty wardrobe made out of key pieces like cable-knit sweaters, edgy double-breasted leather jackets or menswear inspired wool overcoats. The perfectly tailored shapes are being balanced by the delicate open-backed sequin dresses in soft shades of peach and by the bohemian fringed shoulder pieces.
The tomboy feel of the line up was complemented by the cool choice of accessories, where newsboy caps and knee-high boots styled everything in between studded leather shorts, cozy turtleneck dresses and light as air sheer maxi dresses. Wearable, playful and easy to mix, H&M’s collection for fall will hit the sores worldwide on September 5, 2013, hiding beneath a new light and approaching an entirely different attitude.
