From the second Lucette‘s first model emerged with fiercely side-slicked hair topped off by a waved quiff, the RAFW (Australian fashion week) show’s warrior tone was set. And it didn’t disappoint on that promise – gauntlet-like cuffs and leather shoulders were armour-like and bold. The collection had inklings of Sass & Bide but with a more overt sexual vibe. Would many girls head out in nothing but a leather bikini top and a pair of pants? Probably not, but on Lucette’s runway those looks rocked, fully and unabashedly.
