If the resort season could be enclosed in one style and one style only, nonchalant chic should be used to perfectly describe an attitude built upon the idea of movement, of easiness and lightness in a woman’s wardrobe. Noon by Noor encapsulated that same concept of nonchalant chic in their resort 2014 outing, choosing to highlight a series of relaxed silhouettes coated in sugary shades.
Having selected the faded glamour of the 1950s America as departing point, Noon by Noor’s resort 2014 collection combines the milkshake color palette in peppermint, butter yellow, bubblegum pink and vanilla with a burst of playful prints rendering flourishing palm trees and charming flamingos. The fresh approach is complemented by delicate fabrics in crepe de chine, organza and chiffon.
The silk wool, cotton silk and luxe leather point towards structure as built in frill tops, culottes and tapered trousers having the boyish preppy style meet the decidedly feminine silhouettes half-way.
